At Midwest Martial Arts Center, we believe that martial arts training is about more than just physical fitness and self-defense - it's about developing discipline, focus, and inner strength. Our goal is to change the world, one student at a time! Our core curriculum, Kenpo 5.0, is a hybrid of the last generation of American Kenpo taught directly from Senior Grand Master Ed Parker to Jeff Speakman and ground fighting brought into the equation by Mr. Speakman.

At our school, we believe the quality of your training environment matters. From the surface you train on to the way techniques are taught, every detail of our facility is designed to help students train safely, effectively, and with confidence. Our instructional approach combines traditional martial arts values with modern, practical training methods. Students don't simply memorize techniques—they learn how to move, position themselves, apply techniques under pressure, and understand the principles behind what they are doing.

As a modern evolution of Kenpo that emphasizes adaptability, practical application, movement, and the integration of striking, defensive tactics, and grappling. Kenpo 5.0 provides students with a comprehensive approach to martial arts. We also incorporate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, giving students the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to control, escape, and submit an opponent in close-range and in ground situations. BJJ adds an important grappling component to our training and teaches students how leverage, positioning, timing, and technique can allow them to effectively manage an opponent regardless of size or strength.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
